     It really depends on your use-case -- specifically with what constraints you are dealing with.

     I can think of two ways of doing this:

     • Store it as a type: Buffer.
     • Store it as a type: String in base64.

     Storing it as a Buffer may be the most efficient way to store it with regards to space/speed. It also gives you the flexibility to convert it to whatever type is needed for your use-case.

     Storing it as a String will give you easier control of the file contents when you need to access it for downloading because you won't need to convert from Buffer to base64.

     Personally I like to store files as a Bufferand tack on other necessary fields such as filename and mimetype which would yield something like:

     source: { file: { type: Buffer, required: true }, filename: { type: String, required: true }, mimetype: { type: String, required: true } }-

     ...but this is also specific to my use-cases.

     There is also a 3rd option of storing it using GridFS in mongo in case your files exceed the 16MB filesize. You can read more about that in their official documentation page: https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/core/gridfs/

     The Linux Kernel (or any other OS Kernel) is just a binary image containing machine code for the target architecture. It is kinda like a statically linked executable, because there's no operating system to link any dependecy before it's running,so that once loaded in the main memory, it is able to execute without any other helper. This doesn't mean that it cannot load any other module dynamically. In Linux, this behavior is easily seen when you load a module from userspace (it's different process from loading a .so file tough).

     That image may be compressed before being stored in the filesystem, and that's why you may get something like this output from "file":

     file /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.39-400.215.7.el6uek.x86_64

     In February this year (2017), the W3C published the Standards Track RFC 8081: The "font" Top-Level Media Type which greatly simplifies the appropriate media types for font files:

     This memo serves to register and document the "font" top-level media type, under which subtypes for representation formats for fonts may be registered. This document also serves as a registration application for a set of intended subtypes, which are representative of some existing subtypes already in use, and currently registered under the "application" tree by their separate registrations.

     It’s quite a readable document and it describes the historical context (lack of “a registration of formats for font”) which gave rise to the confusing mix of media types and sub-types. With the (relatively) recent rise in popularity of downloadable web fonts, the W3C recognised the need for an “intuitive top-level font type”. What they came up with is: font

     Sometimes the documentation means exactly what it says.

     By way of illustration, I have a table called RANGE_PART_INTERVAL_TABLE which has three partitions. I run the pertinent query against ALL_OBJECTS, and lo!

     I think the problem is the use of the word "objects". Oracle comes from a time before Object-Oriented Programming (if you can imagine such a thing). Its data dictionary uses "database object" to mean "thing" - table, view, sequence, procedure, etc. When Oracle introduced OOP into the database it used the keyword TYPE.for these new things. So the view ALL_OBJECTS is a list of all the things your schema has privileges on, not just the user-defined types.

     So I finally figured it out.

     The “infohash” is the SHA1 Hash over the part of a torrent file that includes:

     • ITEM: length(size) and path (path with filename)
     • Name: The name to search for
     • Piece length: The length(size) of a single piece
     • Pieces: SHA1 Hash of EVERY piece of this torrent
     • Private: flag for restricted access

     To show this a little more I took a random torrent file and used the “BEncode Editor” from Ultima to make it more clearly to me.

     As you can see the the red box marked the information part of the torrent file. The torrent file includes not the Hash of the items, but the hashes of every piece.

     • For item1 with: 1069496548
     • and item2 with: 223
     • It is together: 1069496771
     • With a piece size of: 524288
     • There are 2040 pieces. (1069496771/524288=2039.9032 approximately)
     • The pieces section includes 40800 byte of data what are 81600 + 2 chars in the file.
     • the +2 because 0x marks that this is hexadecimal.
     • A SHA1 hash has 40 0x chars or 20 Byte of data what are 2040 SHA1 hashes.

     I am sorry that this information is about a torrent that leads to a illegal movie, but i wanted to use a torrent that realy exists.
