Jan 28, 2012 · Steven Soderbergh’s movies are ones that I usually find myself watching time and again. Althought I may have my issues with “Ocean’s 13”, I’ll let it slide. But films like “Traffic”, “The Limey” and “Out of Sight” are DVD’s in my collection that routinely get more than the standard one viewing.

Left in the hands of a lesser talent, the ingredients in The Informant! could have produced a disaster, but with Steven Soderbergh at the helm the movie's tricky recipe produces a memorable five-star dinner; an experience you'll want to revisit as soon as the last morsel is washed away by a tall glass of water.
Bottom Line: The Informant! is one of Steven Soderbergh’s best films. It is a culmination of the filmmaker’s talents and Soderbergh has produced a picture with wide audience appeal and high cinematic craft. Episode: #257 (September 27, 2008)
