Taken in the early 90's, a group from the club on the beach. Taken 8/4/95 in the early evening. They dived for 43 mins in a three to a depth of 9.5 meters and vis was a max of 3ft!!

At Ecclestone Quarry, the police diver who recovered Johnstone's body told me that if Smith and Maher had been one metre further to the left when they dumped the body from a cliff top, it would probably have lain untouched for another 20 years. The body landed on a ledge at a depth of about six metres.
Mar 19, 2020 · In the mid-1990s, a geologist named Mike Meehan reopened a non-flooded portion of the Portland quarry, slicing chunks of brownstone off a wall about six metres high (20 feet) high and almost 200m long (650 feet). Sadly, The New York Times reports that after nearly 20 years, Meehan has mined the last of the remaining accessible brownstone.
The palm and thumb of this design are nicely proportioned. However, the index, middle and fourth finger are long and slender while the small finger is short and stubby. The depth of this design varies from 5 to 15 mm, the maximum depth being in the thumb. Design number 2 is in the middle of the stone (Figure 4).
