    Buena Vista Home Entertainment has released several titles to home video since its 1978 establishment as the Walt Disney Telecommunications and Non-Theatrical Company.

    This page features releases branded under other Disney labels such as Touchstone, ABC, etc. and will mainly focus on North American order unless noted. Disney releases are found on their own page.

    This was the first third-party label that Disney distributed for. However, it was a U.S.-only deal, and lasted from 1983-1985.

    In 1991, Buena Vista Home Video signed a worldwide distribution deal with Jim Henson Productions which would allow Buena Vista to distribute tapes based on Jim Henson movies and properties onto VHS worldwide.

    The deal ended after 1997, when The Jim Henson Company signed a new deal with Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment (now Sony Pictures Home Entertainment) to release products through them.

    In the United States, DIC Entertainment signed a distribution deal with Buena Vista Home Video in 1993, which would allow Buena Vista to release some of DIC's shows under their own label on home video. Many of the earlier Buena Vista DIC tapes were reissues of tapes released by BMG Video or DIC Video (DIC's own home video distribution arm for rental releases).

    In 2001, following DIC becoming re-independent, the company exited their US venture through Disney, and signed a new deal with Lions Gate Home Entertainment to release their material on VHS and DVD from then on.
