The museum is accessible from different subway lines and is inside of the Lotte World. It is located on the third floor. When you arrive at the Jamsil subway station, follow the Lotte World sign and Folk Museum sign will appear.

This is a surprisingly large, well-done museum that emphasizes tableaux (dioramas) to illustrate various periods of Korean history, particularly those things that demonstrate Korean innovations or dominance. Most of the exhibits were state-of-the-art in 1990, unchanged since then, but still worth viewing.
