Call Me Bwana is "plugged" in Eon Productions' 1963 Bond film From Russia with Love during a sequence where Ali Kerim Bey assassinates the Russian agent Krilencu with a sniper rifle. "Call me Bwana" is a goody spy-like movie set in Africa, Bob Hope has a hge spider on his arm just like in another James Bond. He used the billboard of the poster as a self-tribute for all his non-Bond movies, knowing he will never have the opportunity again to do a non-Bond movie.
