May 9, 2024 · Werdenfels Castle is a historic landmark located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Upper Bavaria. The ruins of the castle are a significant historical site and were used as a place of imprisonment and execution during the 16th century during the Garmisch Partenkirchen witch trials. The views from Werdenfels Castle are nice and easy to walk around.
