Important information for White Plains Hospital visitors. Our visitation policy allows two visitors at a time. Visitors are allowed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily; ages 12+ (12-17 years old to be accompanied by an adult). Visitors over 18 years of age must show ID.
Maternity Visitation: Upon your transfer to our Maternity unit, your designated support persons are allowed 24/7 during your stay. Two additional visitors are allowed during visiting hours, with no age restriction. Visitors <18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
For patients and visitors coming to the Main Hospital entrance, please use valet or self-park in the new West Lot located at 232 Maple Avenue in White Plains (Gate 2) or 61 West Post Road (Gate 1).

White Plains Hospital. In 1893, a dedicated group of 22 women and three men came together to establish a voluntary, not-for-profit hospital for their community. In that first year, 31 patients were cared for. One hundred twenty-five years later, almost 200,000 patients receive treatments in our facilities annually.
The rooms have been designed to maximize patient comfort, speed up recovery, enhance safety, and encourage privacy and sleep. In addition, patients' visitors will find themselves in a supportive, welcoming environment while visiting their loved ones in the Hospital.
In response to the evolving COVID-19 outbreak and in line with our revised Visitation Guidelines, only select entrances will be open at each Hospital throughout the NewYork-Presbyterian system. All other entrances will be closed and inaccessible to patients, visitors, and staff.
