Nov 6, 2020 · While there are moments that are highly uncomfortable, the film does tend to cut away during the more gruesome moments. Sort of a torture porn lite. Gore fans should probably steer clear, but the film still is not recommended for those who are easily upset by stressful violence, real or implied. “The Odds” is a psychological thriller.

It’s a 2018 film, feature-length, made by Uproar Pictures, written and directed by Bob Giordano. The story revolves around two main characters, a woman and a man whose names we never learn.

Permalink. Abbi Butler subjects herself to torture for the chance of winning a million dollars. She is in a room sitting across from a smug James J. Fuertes conducting the game. In between rounds, the couple reveals their lives for film filler. The ending, which I suppose was a twist, was predictable.
