Rush is a 2013 biographical sports film centred on the rivalry between two Formula One drivers, the Briton James Hunt and the Austrian Niki Lauda, during the 1976 motor-racing season. It was written by Peter Morgan, directed by Ron Howard and starred Chris Hemsworth as Hunt and Daniel Brühl as Lauda.

- Senna. The 2010 documentary Senna is a brilliant testament to all the things that attract people to Formula One. A complex yet charismatic lead, rivalry and sportsmanship, stardom and tragedy.
- Grand Prix. Grand Prix is perhaps the most famous fictional movie about Formula One racing among its fans, and was released all the way back in the year 1966.
- Rush. Among the handful of non-documentary movies about motoracing out there, few are dedicated to Formula One specifically. And Rush, directed by Ron Howard, is possibly the best one there is.
