- Get organized! Nothing screams "STRESSED" like being disorganized in a program where success demands it. If you take the time to organize your personal and academic life, you will experience a sense of relief and less stress.
- Form a study group with classmates. No one understands stress in nursing school like your classmates. Find a group of students who take the same classes as you and form a peer study group.
- Make sure you have a support system outside of school. I cannot stress how important it is to have friends and family to rely on while you are in nursing school.
- Ask for help! It is okay to want to be independent or self-sufficient, but you do not have to push yourself beyond what you are capable of handling. Nursing school is hard.

Jun 15, 2023 · Out of 85 nursing schools in Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University ranks #1 in the state, and out of more than 1,700 nursing programs nationally, it ranks #14. It's 3-year average NCLEX-RN passing rate is 97.93%, giving the Florida Gulf Coast University an overall grade of A.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program is designed to prepare graduates to excel in a diverse, rapidly changing, and technologically oriented society. Graduates are prepared to assume vital roles in the improvement of client health care outcomes.
