During the day the dress code is casual, but no wet swim wear. At night the restaurants on the Royal side require men to wear long trousers and closed toe shoes. Women can wear what they want. On the family side, men can wear shorts at the a la cartes.
Men must wear long pants at the a la carte restaurants on both sides. We actually saw 2 gents get refused entry to the Italian Restaurant ( Bavaro Side), they were wearing cargo like shorts. The buffet (Bavaro side) and Sea Blue (Royal Side), no long pants required.
