In the kitchen knife world, if it has slick advertising and web design it's probably a scam or just overpriced. The best knives and values are mostly from smaller makers on less glamorous websites like CKTG or Japanese Knife Imports or K&S, etc. Coolina is basically a scam repackaging crappy but flashy Chinese knives for higher prices. No bueno.
Having only used the knives 3 months, the handle became wiggly. We reached out to customer service but they would not fix or replace. Very expensive for the lack of quality and customer support.
US. Dec 5, 2023. Complete SCAM! I ordered a total of 8 knives with 2 separate orders, using their promotion of "Buy 2 and get 2 free" on November 25th. They also guarantee 2 day shipping via Fed Ex. They are a complete scam. They sent me shipping confirmation 2 days after the purchase, but cancelled both shipments with no explanation.

It’s light, and thin, but cuts very well. It is the opposite of anything fancy, but it is quality. Also VG-10 steel, which is a great knife steel, especially at that price. If you’re willing to pay a little more, I would check out MAC knives or one of the mid range Tojiro DP knives. They are very solid, reliable knives.
