About Us. Fife Lake Township, situated in the southeast corner of Grand Traverse County, Michigan, encompasses the scenic waters of Fife Lake, mainly on its south and west sides.
Official website. Fife Lake Township is a civil township of Grand Traverse County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 1,526, a slight increase from 1,517 at the 2000 census. The village of Fife Lake is located within the township.
The village is located in Fife Lake Township, and is adjacent to the eponymous lake. The village is located immediately west of the Kalkaska County line. Fife Lake is the only community in Grand Traverse County to be located east of US Highway 131 .
