    Fisker's halo sports car is coming into focus as the Rōnin concept. The fledgling EV automaker claims it will be going into production in the second half of 2025 as a four-door convertible. Fisker says it's aiming for high performance, both in terms of acceleration and driving range. Three electric motors are said to provide both all-wheel traction...

    The Rōnin will be a new nameplate for the Fisker brandand the company claims it'll start production in the second half of 2025. If that timeline holds, we expect the first ones to roll off the factory floor as 2026 model-year vehicles.

    Given its lofty range target and positioning as the brand's halo car, the Rōnin starts at a much higher price point than its relatively affordable stablemates. The Rōnin will be built in very small numbers—Fisker says it plans to build only 999 of them in total—and its exclusivity will require a hefty investment of at least $385,000.

    While we don't know specifics on the Rōnin's powertrain, we do know that Fisker is planning a three-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain with 1000 horsepower and a 600-mile estimated driving range. Company CEO Henrik Fisker claims this setup should be capable of rocketing the Rōnin to 60 mph in just 2.0 seconds.

    Fisker says the Rōnin will offer seating for five underneath its convertible roof, but judging by the size of the rear doors we're assuming those in the back won't have much space to get comfortable for long drives.
