    James Edward "Jimmie" Allen (born June 18th, 1986- ) was a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol.

    Jimmie auditioned in Nashville. He sang "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5. It's unknown how the judges voted, but at least two of them said "yes", advancing him to the next round.

    His stay in Hollywood was not televised much, but he did manage to make the final sixty-one.

    His stay in Vegas was not shown much, but he advanced.

    At the final deliberation, the judges told him that he did not make the Top 24.

    Jimmie served as a duet partner for Alanis Sophia and Cecil Ray on Season 19.

    Jimmie became the first American Idol alum since Carrie Underwood to be nominated for the Grammy for Best New Artist.
