Nathan grew up in Northern California and plays drums for over 17 years now. After studying drums for years he eventually moved to southern California to start his professional career. Since living in southern California he has played, recorded and/or toured with Kerli, Lucy Walsh, Rufio, Lit, the Strays, The Cornfed Project to name a few.
The album is dedicated to Shellenberger's memory. In addition to being dedicated to Shellenberger, the album also features a track called "Here’s to Us", which is a tribute to him. It is the first album with the rhythm guitarist Ryan Gillmor and the only one with Nathan Walker on drums.
