Out of the Cold is an interfaith program that strives to respond in a meaningful way to the basic physical needs of shelter, food and warm clothing for the less fortunate members of our society – as well as to respond to the deeply human needs of compassion, dignity and feelings of self-worth.
Wednesday/ Sunday This Out of the Cold operates ALL YEAR ROUND on Sunday and Wednesdays from 5 to 7pm serving 650+ hot meals every week. Our outreach volunteers bring meals to encampments, places where unhoused people meet, and to overdose prevention sites.
Out of the Cold is a volunteer driven program run in many Canadian cities during the cold winter months serving homeless and poor community members.
Out of the Cold programs generally run from November to March, although this can vary by location. OOTCs offered overnight bed spaces. They also offered dinner and evening drop-in hours to many additional people who do not stay overnight. How to read the maps. Quick information.

Program provides overnight shelter to men experiencing homelessness. The program is open from 6pm-7:30am each night at 1105 Queen St. East, Brampton (the corner of West Drive and Queen St.), in the Gymnasium and runs from November until March.
