Randy was raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. He began learning the guitar, mandolin and the roots of bluegrass and country music at an early age. He helped form his first band in high school, Phoenix Mountain Strings. They played anywhere/anytime, from late night festivals to early morning church revivals.

Jan 26, 2018 · If not for the singular reason that I believe that Randy Gambill may be one of the bravest men in Hollywood. He’s a guy who wasn’t afraid to, literally, put it all out there. I am obviously referring to his performance as the infamous Streaker in the brilliant film “Observe and Report”.
