     The android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission is introduced with Android 11 (API 30) and therefore not supported on Android 10 or lower (see official documentation).

     The permission_handler plugin returns PermissionStatus.restricted because it doesn't know how to handle the permission on Android 10 and below. In case of Android 10 and lower simply restrict to requesting the android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permissions.

     The log message is printed because the android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission is not returned as part of the array returned by the Context.getPackageInfo().requestedPermissions API. Therefore the permission_handler plugin thinks the permission is not listed in the AndroidManifest.xml file. In this case this is of course not entirely true, however my assumption is that Android filters out permissions that don't apply on the current Android version.

     As maintainer of the permission_handler plugin I will make sure the log message gets updated so it takes this option also into account.

     The VM is most likely using a public IP address to talk with the App Service, not its private IP address.

     The request would need to be routed through the VM's VNET to the App Service in order for the private address to be used.

     You need to create Role and RoleBinding for each service account like dev-crd-ns-user.

     For dev-crd-ns-user:

     • Update the existing Role or create a new one:

     apiVersion: rbac.authorization.k8s.io/v1kind: Rolemetadata: namespace: dev-crd-ns name: crd-adminrules:- apiGroups: ["apiextensions.k8s.io"] resources: ["customresourcedefinitions"] verbs: ["get", "list", "watch", "create", "update", "patch", "delete"]

     $ kubectl apply -f crd-admin-role.yaml-

     • Update the existing RoleBinding with this new Role or create a new one:

     apiVersion: rbac.authorization.k8s.io/v1kind: RoleBindingmetadata: name: crd-admin namespace: dev-crd-nssubjects:- kind: ServiceAccount name: dev-crd-ns-user namespace: dev-crd-nsroleRef: kind: Role name: crd-admin apiGroup: rbac.authorization.k8s.io

     $ kubectl apply -f crd-admin-role-binding.yaml-

     Now, the SA dev-crd-ns-user will have all the access to customresourcedefinitions.

     Follow similar steps for the rest of the service accounts.

     If you're using jQuery it has a callback function to overcome this:

     As of jQuery 1.2, you can load JSON data located on another domain if you specify a JSONP callback, which can be done like so: "myurl?callback=?". jQuery automatically replaces the ? with the correct method name to call, calling your specified callback. Or, if you set the dataType to "jsonp" a callback will be automatically added to your Ajax request.

     Alternatively you could make your ajax request to a server-side script which does the cross-domain call for you, then passes the data back to your script
