Tom Quinn is the younger brother, by four years, of former Governor Pat Quinn. Even while Tom was attending college at Stanford University he began helping his older brother during the Dan Walker campaign for governor in 1972. While a law student, also at Stanford, Tom once again helped Pat with petition drives in 1976 and 1978.
