   • Victor Frankenstein is refreshingly character-driven and has a sense of joy in its storytelling that makes this great-grandfather of the corpse resurrection genre seem fresh and alive. It's as if the film knows that you know that the film knows it can do better. Or something like that. Probably best not to think too hard about that.

   Is Frankenstein a good movie?

   • The best way to describe this is a Frankenstein done in the style of the Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movies. A movie that is just fun to watch and really adds to the story that everyone knows in a way that does make it seem new and exciting. Overall, surprisingly good and a movie that I recommend if you want to be entertained for a few hours.
