- New York City. It might not come as a surprise to you that New York City tops the list of the wealthiest cities in the world: According to the report, the city is home to 340,000 individuals worth over $1 million, 724 centi-millionaires, and 58 billionaires.
- Tokyo. Tokyo, Japan, is number two, mostly due to the fact that the city counts for 21 percent of the country’s entire millionaire population. According to the report, it boasts 250 centi-millionaires and 14 billionaires.
- The Bay Area. The Henley & Partners report notes that the Bay Area in California includes both San Francisco and Silicon Valley, and this tech haven is home to 285,000 millionaires, along with 629 centi-millionaires and 63 billionaires.
- London. London in the United Kingdom ranks four on this list, with 258,000 resident millionaires, 384 centi-millionaires, and 36 billionaires. It’s home to some of the world’s most expensive zip codes, too, with homes in Kensington going for no less than $14 million.
