William John Arthur Charles James Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th Duke of Portland, KG, GCVO, GCStJ, TD, PC, DL (28 December 1857 – 26 April 1943), known as William Cavendish-Bentinck until 1879, was a British landowner, courtier, and Conservative politician.
The fifth Duke died unmarried and was succeeded by his first cousin once removed, William Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th Duke of Portland, who was the only son from the first marriage of Lieutenant-General Arthur Cavendish-Bentinck, younger son of Lord Charles Bentinck, the third son of the third Duke.
The 6th Duke held a number of honours, including Chairman of the First Royal Commission on Horsebreeding, President of the Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, and Lord Lieutenant of both Caithness and Nottinghamshire.
