    Here are a few steps to follow in order to pursue a career in accounting:

    1.Study accounting in college. Earn an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field to establish the foundation for a successful accounting career.

    2.Take more classes and pass the Certified Public Accountant exam. Pass accounting courses and an exam that will qualify you as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
