After the Rain: With Sayumi Watabe, Hiroaki Hirata, Jason Douglas, Luci Christian. A young student and track and field star Akira begins to fall for her middle-aged boss Masami while working part time at a restaurant. They have both reached a significant turning point in their lives.
When Akira takes a job at Masami's business, they begin to reconsider everything about themselves. Akira Tachibana works at Café Garden Restaurant, where her manager, Mr. Kondo, has a habit of apologizing to customers. But Akira doesn't seem to mind.
Sidelined and depressed, Akira stops in at a family restaurant one rainy day, and after the manager—a 45-year-old man with a young son—serves her free coffee, she is smitten, and soon takes a part-time job at the restaurant.
