Yes. Definitely try to make it there. The short film corner is a scam IMO, designed to take money from desperate filmmakers who are fooled by the Cannes name. Sure it might lead to something for an occasional person who gets ridiculously lucky, but for the most part it is a huge waste of time.
Has anything changed about Cannes Short Film Corner in the last 6 years? Question I found that article someone thoroughly wrote about how silly the whole thing can be and I’m trying to convince my partner that we shouldn’t submit our film to it, but she’s convinced things have changed for the better.
Question. Hello! So we submitted our short film to the Cannes Short Film Corner and got accepted. Did anyone here from the US go last year? Was it worth it?
