The restoration of the Château de la Napoule was a long adventure undertaken by a couple of American artists in 1918. Architect and landscape designer, Marie Clews directed the work and redesigned the 4 hectares of gardens. The perspectives traced magnify the neo-medieval castle which overhangs the sea.
