The film follows Chris Vale, who was admitted to an asylum at the age of 12 after witnessing his mother's rape and murder by two thugs hired by his father (who subsequently committed suicide). Chris barely survived having his face burned by one of the thugs.
Chris is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vale. In 1982, Chris witnessed his mother getting raped and murdered, orchestrated by his father, than his father committed suicide after he got disfigured when a bullet hit a steam pipe that severely burned him, leading him to be admitted to an asylum.
