Three Dog Night is an American rock band formed in 1967, founded by vocalists Chuck Negron, Cory Wells, and Danny Hutton. This lineup was soon augmented by Jimmy Greenspoon (keyboards), Joe Schermie (bass), Michael Allsup (guitar), and Floyd Sneed (drums).

Mini Bio. Singer Chuck Negron was born on June 8, 1942 in New York City. He grew up in the Bronx. His parents were Charles and Elizabeth Negron. At age fifteen, Negron had already recorded his first single and performed at the legendary Apollo Theater with his doo-wop group The Rondells.
