David Cary Jacobson (born October 9, 1951) is an American lawyer who served as the 29th United States Ambassador to Canada. Biography. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Georgetown University Law Center, he spent much of his career working in the Chicago offices of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, a law firm.
Bio. After growing up in a racing family, David Jacobson began training in 1976 at age 19. To date he has amassed more than 1,000 wins and earnings of over $36 million. In 2013 he set the single-season record for victories at New York Racing Association tracks (Saratoga, Belmont, Aqueduct) with 160.
