The De La Warr Pavilion is a grade I listed building, located on the seafront at Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, on the south coast of England. [1] The Modernist [2] [3] and International Style [4] [5] building was designed by the architects Erich Mendelsohn and Serge Chermayeff and constructed in 1935. [6]
The De La Warr Pavilion is the most famous building in Bexhill. It was the first welded steel frame public building in this country and one of the best early examples of the International Modernist style.
