All Illinois State University teacher candidates must have an ELIS account for licensure. It tracks your test scores, degree (s), endorsement (s), and personal information for the ISBE and future employers. You will not be licensed by the ISBE without an account containing all required tests.
The Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS) houses all Illinois educator licensure information and allows educators to update their information, upload documentation and apply for additional licenses or endorsements.
