Each licensee who applies for Florida licensure from a state or jurisdiction that has a current mutual recognition agreement with Florida must pass a written Florida-specific real estate law examination.
The real estate appraisal license and corresponding laws in Florida are administered and enforced by the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board (FREAB). Both FREC and FREAB are supported by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s Division of Real Estate.
