He was a Liberal Party member of the House of Representatives between November 2001 and 2022, representing the Division of Flinders in Victoria.

Dec 2, 2021 · December 2, 2021 - 3:29PM. Health Minister Greg Hunt has announced his decision to retire from politics ahead of the next federal election after 20 years in Parliament. The father-of-two will continue to lead Australia through the coronavirus pandemic as Health and Aged Care Minister until the federal election, which is due by May next year.
