Jul 23, 2021 · Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi (平穏世代の韋駄天達, Idaten Deities In The Peaceful Generation) is a TV anime series that aired from July 23, 2021 till September 28, 2021, and based on the Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi manga. It aired on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block and was animated by studio MAPPA.
Their desperate prayers led to the birth of Idaten, the battle of deities. These dominant gods swept and imprisoned the demons easily. However, a couple of years later, Zobel Empire resurrected the demons, causing panic and threat to humanity again.
Gods appeared when humanity was on the verge of destruction due to the work of demons. Deities called "Idaten" fought and sealed away the demons 800 years ago. Nowadays, the Idaten have no fighting experience and they live peaceful lives.
