Sep 15, 2009 · New Emulator, vGBX, by Jamie Sanders. There is a new Emu, the vGBX, planned to be launched in November. This is the same creator of the vNES emu we grew to love. It serves the same purpose as to offer a Java based emulator to successfully run in web browsers and numerous portable devices.
Although non-VM versions of Java is perfectly compatible with vNES on Microsoft operating systems, vNES is not currently compatible with the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine. Sanders has indicated that compatibility with the Microsoft JVM will "likely never happen".
