Coming up with Business. I was asked to come up with some gags for the Dumbo circus ringmaster and his Capuchin monkey. These moments were lightly sketched in the screenplay, so I explored further in storyboards. If you are asked to do this, it's good not to censor yourself.

May 29, 2009 · Bryn Imagire (Shading Art Director) painted other sculpts exploring healthier complexions. She also made models of the house, plants, and rocks, to impart a tactile quality to the digital work. CLOUD TOWERS. On UP I made some animated tests using After Effects as a way to take static images further.

Whether for composition, lighting or color I use them as reference and general inspiration. I like viewing films in this contact sheet mosaic, like a color script brought to its final conclusion. I've also posted some individual shots.
Lou Romano (born April 15, 1972) is an American animator and voice actor. He did design work on Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles, and he provided the voices of Bernie Kropp in The Incredibles, Snot Rod in Cars, and Alfredo Linguini in Ratatouille.

I managed to go see Up a few nights ago and, once again, Pixar managed to 1-up (pun!) themselves again, following Wall-e with a very simplistic, sentimental and beautiful film.
