Compared to the 6.5 mile out-and-back hike that starts at the Alabama hiking trailhead, starting at the Tennessee hiking trailhead will be about 1.1 miles longer for a total distance of 7.6 miles. From the parking lot, you can go left or right on the Mill Creek Loop Trail.
The Walls of Jericho has a 11-mile riding trail that starts from the southern parking area on HWY 79. Following the trail around will take riders down John Gifford Hollow into the valley of Hurricane Creek and along its banks until the confluence of Turkey Creek. Download map. Hunting.

Walls of Jericho is located North of Scottsboro. We typically drive straight down highway 72 and turn left onto highway 79.
