Mar 25, 2015 · Notable 21st Century Living Women: Mary-Lee-by-the-Sea. Mary Lee Alvarez lives in Guánica, Puerto Rico. I refer to her in my HP Blog bio as one of my three fairy godmothers who helped me rescue a dog.
Location: Mary Lee's is located on the southwest coast of Puerto Rico, two hours from San Juan and just up the street from the Guanica Dry Forest, a UNESCO International Biosphere Reserve. This truly special place is the largest remaining strip of tropical dry coastal forest on earth.
