On November 13, the McKinney ISD Board of Trustees adopted the 2024-25 academic calendar. This calendar includes an August 8 start date. The 2024-25 school year will end on May 22, 2025.
Oct 27, 2022 · The 2023-2024 school year will begin on Aug. 9, 2023, and will conclude on May 23, 2024, with graduation for all three high schools planned for Friday, May 24. Parents will note that the start of Winter Break has been moved back next year to Dec. 22 and will extend through Jan. 8.
