Plot. An asteroid much larger than that which caused the Chicxulub Crater is attacked by a ten-megaton nuclear warhead minutes before its collision with Earth, breaking it into three pieces, the largest of which (the size of Iceland) bounces off the Earth's atmosphere.

Synopsis. An asteroid flies a little too close to the Earth and knocks it out of its orbit, leading to rising global temperatures. LAPD cop Tom Bracket (Casper Van Dien) joins a scientist and his sister in an attempt to escape to an arctic research station.
