In 1974, Miles college opened an evening law school to address the fact that there were only 40 African-American lawyers in the state of Alabama. Those evening classes eventually led to the founding of the Miles Law School, which has graduated leaders in law and politics.
Miles Law School in Alabama is among the minority of law schools that offers a part-time program. In fact, it does not have a full-time program, and all students meet for courses in the evenings. The school prides itself on catering to "non-traditional and socially conscious" students.
Founded in 1974, Miles Law School is a private law school located in Fairfield, Alabama. Miles Law School is accredited by Alabama State Bar, but it is currently unaccredited by the ABA (American Bar Association).
