In the end of the movie Mirrors, Ben got trapped in the parallel paradox/mirror. The majority of us would have thought that this aspect has to play a crucial role in its sequel Mirrors 2, but none of the things relating to this incident are shown in Mirrors.

Nov 14, 2023 · In the 2008 horror film “Mirrors,” directed by Alexandre Aja, the ending is marked by a succession of intense and unsettling events. The film reaches its peak at the Mayflower, a department store known for its eerie past. Here, the protagonist, Ben Carson, faces off against a malevolent entity residing within the mirrors.
Meanwhile, Ben's sister, Angie, is killed by her reflection as it grips its jaw and slowly pulls its mouth apart, causing her to bleed profusely. Ben is distraught when he finds her body. In anger, he attempts to destroy the mirrors at the Mayflower, but they are impervious to damage.
After arriving on the scene the next morning to see his sister's body, he returns to the store and attempts to destroy the mirrors, but they prove impervious and even regenerate from several bullets he fires at them. He demands to know what the mirrors want, and ESSEKER is written on the mirror.
When he gets there to find a dead end, he turns in horror to find the doors of all the lockers swinging open of their own volition, sending back a chorus line of reflected Garys, all gaping out in fear (this is one of the film's absolute best shots, by the way).
