The Morgan Plus 8 was a series of sports cars introduced in 1968. The Plus 8, also referred to as the +8, was based on the Morgan +4, but was powered by a Rover-sourced V8 engine. This model was offered as an open top roadster with drive going to the rear wheels through manual or automatic transmissions.

It had the appearance and performance of a good vintage or p.v.t. sporting car, and when, later, it was powered with warmed-up 2.2-litre Triumph TR4A engines instead of a single-carburetter Standard Vanguard engine, it really motored most effectively, and was impressive on the Club circuits.
