Freedom from Want, also known as The Thanksgiving Picture or I'll Be Home for Christmas, is the third of the Four Freedoms series of four oil paintings by American artist Norman Rockwell. The works were inspired by United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt's 1941 State of the Union Address, known as Four Freedoms.

- Some Worried it Was Too Much… Even Rockwell. Though Freedom From Want was enthusiastically embraced by the American public, in Europe the happy scene left a bitter taste as the population endured ongoing wartime hardship.
- Winking at Art History. The military may have dismissed him as not a “real fine art man,” but Rockwell (who had never claimed to be anything more than an illustrator) was in fact a wellspring of art-historical knowledge and compositional study.
