Jun 1, 2024 · June 1, 2024—Proud parents of Peru High School’s graduating seniors placed 121 banners on the fence before the intermediate School this morning. Erecting banners began when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of an in-person graduation. Today, banners may be part of PCS tradition.
Peru Senior High School is a public high school located in Peru, Clinton County, New York, U.S.A., and is the only high school operated by the Peru Central School District. In July 2020, the school board voted to retire the Indians mascot, replacing it with the Nighthawks in 2021.
Jun 7, 2024 · Michelle Bechard kindly sent the Peru Gazette information on Saturday’s Peru Senior Class Community Parade. The parade was started in 2020 by the parents of that senior class. That was the beginning of COVID-19 when the seniors had their school year abruptly ended in March.
