Rachel’s Night Shelter is an emergency, short term (90-120 days) overnight shelter for 35 homeless women, 18 years of age and older in downtown San Diego. In a typical year, the shelter provides 180 unduplicated women with a safe place to stay while they address the obstacles preventing them from ending their homelessness.
Rachel’s Promise, operated by Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego, provides up to 40 beds for women 18 years of age and older. Rosecrans Shelter, operated by Alpha Project for the Homeless in conjunction with the County of San Diego, provides up to 150 beds for adults age 18 years and older. City’s Youth Shelters.
