Roderick Plummer comes to Alabama State from Florida A&M University, where he served as the running backs coach and special teams coordinator for the Rattlers for one season. He will coach running backs and coordinate the special teams unit for Alabama State beginning in 2018.

He comes to The Hill after serving as the running back/special teams coordinator at Alabama State University. His punter ranked 17th nationally in 2018, and five members of the ASU special teams unit was named all-conference.
