Lori Loughlin (born on July 28, 1964) is an American actress, model and producer. She is best known for her role as Jody Travis on the American daytime television soap opera The Edge of Night from June 16, 1980 to December 30, 1983.
At 15, she was cast in the ABC soap opera The Edge of Night, playing the part of Jody Travis, an aspiring dancer, appearing in the series from 1980 to 1983. From 1983 to 1988, Loughlin appeared in more than a dozen feature films and television guest spots.
The Edge of Night is an American mystery crime drama television series and soap opera, created by Irving Vendig and produced by Procter & Gamble Productions. It debuted on CBS on April 2, 1956, and ran as a live broadcast on that network for most of its run until November 28, 1975.
